A marketplace that matches people planning private events with partner venues, earning a commission on every booking. One of four partners and the only technical one, responsible for the whole technical side: the architecture, the Angular and Spring Boot platform, the Hetzner servers behind a Tailscale VPN, security, backups and GDPR, and the WhatsApp automation that handles most conversations with customers and venues. It is live and has started invoicing.
Senior Software Engineer
A B2B platform that helps international companies stay compliant when their people travel or relocate: visas, A1 social security certificates, work permits. Role: one of the five engineers on Assignments, the module for long-term postings, and the team’s deputy lead. Work shipped includes Calendar Overview, which brings every product on the platform into a single calendar. The whole team works AI-first.
Two courses for school staff, funded by Italy’s recovery plan: forty hours in 2025, twenty-two in 2026, about twenty teachers each. Both designed and taught: how generative models work and where they fail, using them responsibly, prompting ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and DeepSeek, generating text, images, audio and video, and turning all of it into teaching material.
Started in autumn 2022 and taken while working full-time. The thesis looked at how well graph neural networks can approximate graph edit distance, a measure of how different two graphs are that is very expensive to compute exactly: the methods, where they break, and a few original proposals.
Awarded by the University of Calabria to the best student of the academic year.
Completed alongside a full-time job, with a thesis on Excel2HTML, a web app that builds HTML pages from spreadsheets, and a merit scholarship in every year of the course. The same year also brought the Neo4j Certified Professional certification.
Full-stack developer
Full-time at IET, an IT consultancy, from the age of twenty, in parallel with university: Java and Spring Boot back ends, Angular front ends and Flutter apps for large Italian organisations, mostly Poste Italiane, plus SOGIN. Nine projects in four years.
Responsibility for the whole front-end area of the Poste Italiane projects: more than six running in parallel and a team of about ten people. Architecture, planning, code review, and the client on the other end of the phone, at twenty-two: a lot to learn, quickly.
The last eight months, on the data side: ETL pipelines on AWS and Azure feeding a client’s data lake and analytics.
FIT, the University of Calabria’s initial teacher-training course: three months learning to stand on the other side of the desk.
Scientific high school, then straight into Computer Science at the University of Calabria.
As a kid I played basketball and volleyball, and swam. At eighteen, the gym: three years of bodybuilding, two of powerlifting, and now a mix of both with a couple of HIIT sessions a week.

Mine is a 2025 Mazda3 in Polymetal Gray with the Homura trim (homura is Japanese for flame). Mazda builds its cars around the joy of driving: a car made for the pleasure of the drive, not just to get somewhere. Stock, for now.
I love anime. Animation can express things that a film shot with real cameras cannot. My favourites are all on my list. I also wrote AnimeDownloader, a small tool that downloads whole seasons in one go.

Kiisa
Competitive shooters since I was a kid. My first real clan was Core7, in A.V.A., where I played ESL tournaments and won a few of them.
In 2016, at sixteen, I captained Italy’s team at the ESL Nations Challenge in A.V.A. The image is the lobby before Italy against Poland, with me hosting the room as Kiisa. Looking back, it was a first taste of a tech lead’s job: getting five people to play as one.
